Accessibility
What works today, and what is still being improved.
MOSAIC is used by students with a wide range of needs, on whatever device is available at home. It aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
Built in
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus outline on every control.
- Text and background combinations checked for contrast.
- Form fields with real labels, and errors announced rather than shown by colour alone.
- English left-to-right and Persian right-to-left layouts.
- Layouts that work on a small phone screen and reflow when text is enlarged.
- Touch targets at least 44 pixels tall.
Not a requirement
Owning a smartphone is never required. A student without digital access takes part fully on paper, and the teacher enters the results for them.
Still to do
- A full screen-reader pass over the teacher dashboard.
- Reviewing chart colours for colour-blind readers.
- Persian translation of every screen.
Telling us about a problem
If something is hard to use, tell your PE teacher. Barriers reported by students are treated as defects, not requests.
